Italian Serie A outfit, Napoli has expressed interest in signing Nigeria defender Ola Aina this summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport , Napoli are looking to make some new additions to their squad ahead of next season and Aina is one of the players under consideration.

The Partenopei are particularly impressed with Aina’s versatility as he can play either as a right or left wing-back.

Aina joined Torino on a permanent deal last summer after impressing while on loan with the club during the 2018-2019 season.

The 23-year-old could be allowed to leave provided his asking price is met by his suitors.

Aina has also been linked with a return to England, with West Ham United and Everton said to be interested in his services.

The defender has featured in 29 league games for Torino this season and has two assists to his name.

Aina is the international team-mate of Victor Osimhen who is on the brink of moving to the San Paolo Stadium outfit.
