Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and Leicester teammate Christian Fuchs has picked Kelechi Iheanacho as the best penalty taker in the Leicester City squad.

In his three seasons at the club, Iheanacho attempted and scored once from 12 yards in a regular game, the winner against Wolves in the Carabao Cup in 2018-19.

When quizzed by Christian Fuchs about who the best penalty taker in the team, Ndidi wasted no time before naming Iheanacho as the best he ever has seen.

“Kelechi’s never missed a penalty. I’ve never seen him miss a penalty,” to which Fuchs agreed.

Ayoze Perez, relatively new at the club, was surprised about the choice of Iheanacho, but Fuch and Ndidi quickly point to him that the Nigerian forward is the best in the business.

“You’ve not seen him? He never misses,” before Fuchs added: “He’s unbelievable. The best penalty taker I’ve seen.”

Although Jamie Vardy remains the first choice taker for the club and has taken 17 of 21 spot-kicks awarded to the Foxes, scoring 14.
