Victor Moses has finally broken his silence on Inter Milan’s UEFA Europa League defeat to Sevilla last Friday.

Moses and his teammates ended the season without a major trophy as they were beaten 2 – 3 by Sevilla in the final of the Europa League in Germany.

The former Nigerian international who came for Danilo D’Ambrosio in the second half of the encounter said he’s devastated to lose another major final, but he remains grateful to fans of the club for their amazing support all through the campaign.

“Devastated to lose the final on Friday. We gave everything but it just wasn’t to be. Thank you so much to all of the fans for your amazing support for the team during the season” he said.

The defeat means, that Moses who won the trophy with Chelsea in 2013, fell short of becoming first Nigerian to the title twice with a different teams

The 2013 African Cup of Nations winner also helped Antonio Conte’s side to the semi-final of the Copa Italian and second place in the Serie A.
