Arsenal have rejected a bid for youngster Folarin Balogun from Premier League campaigner Sheffield United.
The Blades are in the market for a new striker and have identified Folarin Balogun as a perfect target, reports claim.
The Chris Wilder side is said to have offer £4million for the highly-rated youngster, but it was way below the valuation of Arsenal for the player.
Balogun who has been prolific for Arsenal’s youth teams is valued at £15million by the Gunners and will only entertain bid in that region for him.
The Blades could wait for next summer to get the player for free because he has entered the final year of his contract.
Balogun has not made a single appearance for Arsenal, but he has distinguished himself for Arsenal’s youth teams.
For the Under-18 side, he hagged 38 goals in 41 appearances, while for the Under-23s he has scored 13 times in 31 outings.
Balogun was born in New York and has represented England at the youth level, but he’s still eligible to play for the Super Eagles in the nearest future.
