Defender Leon Balogun has expressed excitement following Rangers’ victory against Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday.

Steven Gerrard’s men were 2-0 victors against the Polish side after goals from Cedric Itten and Ianis Hagi saw them claim maximum points away from home.

The victory means Rangers are seeded for Monday’s round of 32 draws after topping the group with 14 points.

Balogun, who was in action for 81 minutes before he was replaced by Nigerian-born defender Calvin Bassey, has however taken to his official Twitter handle to react to the win.

“Happy days ❤️🤍💙”, he tweeted.

Balogun has made 14 appearances across all competitions for Rangers this season.

He will hope to continue his contribution to Steven Gerrard’s side as they take on Dundee United in the league on December 13.
