English Premier league side West Ham are interested in signing Genk striker Paul Onuachu according to a report.

The Hammers are said to be huge admirer of the Nigerian who scored 35 goals in 41 games for Genk last season.

West Ham are without proper centre-forward since the exit of Sebastian Haller and manager David Moyes want the problem solved this summer because of the hefty schedule of next season.

The former Hammers has Michail Antonio as his only player who can play in the position, but his injury history means he can’t play every game.

Onuachu is valued at €30 million by Genk and they have made it clear that the 13-capped Nigeria international is not for sale.

Reports says West Ham could lunch  a bid around £15 million for the 27-year-old who have a great goalscoring records.

Onuachu finished as the top scorer in the just concluded season in Belgium and was named the player of the season and best African player in Belgium.
