Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has joined Turkish Super Lig side Fatih Karagümrük.

Musa the deal was made official on Thursday and the player signed a one-year contract with the club.

The club said in a statement on their official Instagram page: “We added the 28-year-old Nigerian offensive player to our squad. During his career, he played for clubs such as VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow, and Leicester City. He scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian National Team,”.

The 28-year-old becomes the fifth player to arrive at the club in the summer transfer window, after Aleksandar Pesic, Kerim Frei, Samed Onur, and Erhun Öztümer.

Karagümrük finished eighth in the Turkish league last season and Musa is expected to help challenge for Europe next season.

The Nigerian international spent the last six months with Kano Pillars after leaving Saudi Arabia’s premier league side Al Nassr.
