Cyriel Dessers scored his first goal of the season for Belgian side KRC Genk on Tuesday.

The Nigerian international came on as substitute in Genk’s third round second leg UEFA Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.

Dessers replaced Jhon Lucumi in the 68th minute of the encounter and he managed to find the target with almost last kick of the game.

His compatriot, Paul Onuachu also saw actions for 82nd minutes before he was hauled off by the coach.

Dessers has now been invloved in four goals (three assists and one goal) for Genk this season.

Just like the first leg, Genk lost the match 2-1 and they crashed out from the UEFA Champions League in the process.
