Lukaku enjoyed success at Inter Milan for two seasons, before leaving for Chelsea in the last transfer window.
Speaking about Osimhen’s recent eye catching performance, Zola who is current Italy assistant manager said, the Nigerian can be a world-class player like Lukaku.
Zola added that, with his talents, Osimhen can be Lukaku’s heir.
“When he arrived in Italy two years ago, I didn’t know him well and I researched him,” Zola told Gazzetta Dello Sport as per Sempreinter.
“I discovered a player very good in his movement. With his athletic strength, he can be devastating. He is Lukaku’s heir. He is young and has enormous room for improvement.”
Osimhen has scored three goals for Napoli this season, and will be looking for his fourth of the season when Napoli take on Sampdoria this Thursday.
