The midfield enforcer has been out of action after picking up an injury in the 2-2 draw with Burnley three weeks ago.
He has since missed the clash against Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Europa League game against Spatak Moscow in Russia.
However, The Nigerian international returned to bench for the tie against Arsenal last weekend, despite not being fully fit.
Speaking ahead Leicester City’s Europa League clash with Spartak Moscow , Rodgers revealed he’s unsure if Ndidi will play a part in the game, but he is confident that the Nigerian international would ready for the weekend.
“Certainly, he should be ready by the weekend. He’s trained really well, but we just have to be careful and mindful of the injury he’s coming back from.” He said.
Leicester won the first meeting 4-2 in Russia and will be hoping to do a double over the Russians later this evening.
