Napoli’s striker Victor Osimhen is gradually working his way back to full fitness after sitting out the success against Salernitana last Sunday, due to injury.

The Nigerian international who skipped the game due to injury Napoli resumed training with the squad at the SSC Napoli Konami Training Center on Wednesday.

The Azzurri are preparing for their Europa league match against Legia Warsaw scheduled for Thursday.

According to reports on Napoli’s official website, Osimhen and other injured players trained on Wednesday.

“Insigne and Ounas spent the entire session with the team. Osimhen did custom work on the pitch. Malcuit did custom work in the gym. Swimming pool for Manolas.” The reports says.

Meanwhile, former Italy striker Christian Vieri has heaped praises on the striker for his impressive form for Luciano Spalleti’s men.

While speaking to Bobo TV, he praised the Super Eagles agles striker for using his qualities to help the team.

“Serie A is not like 20 years ago, but tactically it is still very difficult and a little patience was needed. Now Osimhen scores, plays for the team, attacks the depth, drops deeper and creates spaces.”

The striker has scored 9 goals in 12 matches this season.
