Kelechi Iheanacho has called on his Leicester City teammates to forget the 2 – 1 defeat to defeat against Everton and focus on the upcoming clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Brendan Rodgers men are still winless since premier league restart and the last defeat against the Toffees is their third in last five away game after winning seven out of nine previously.

Iheanacho came off the bench to score the Foxes’ only goal on Wednesday has now scored eight goals as a substitute. Only Olivier Giroud (16) has more in that time frame, since making his Premier League debut in August 2015.

“It’s absolutely a tough one,” at full-time following Leicester’s third Premier League match since the Premier League’s resumption. “We need to do more. It’s not good enough for us.

“We just need to get back and work on training. We got a goal back and we got a couple of chances, but unfortunately, we lost.”

“We need to do more and get back to winning ways. In the next game, we need to fight and get the three points.

“We did a bit more in the second half, but we need to do more if we [want] to compete. We have six games left, so we need to compete.

“We need to get our mentality right, to fight until the end,” he told LCTV.

Despite playing as back up to Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez, Iheanacho has scored nine goals in all competitions for the Foxes this season.
