Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo has confirmed that he will be sidelined for at least two weeks.
Reports circulating local media has it that Omeruo is back from injury, but he has refuted the claims on Thursday.
Omeruo was substituted after suffering a knock in Leganes win over Mirandes last weekend.
While reacting to one of the reports that he has regained full fitness, Omeruo said the report is not true and he will sit out of action for the next two weeks.
“Please get your facts right before publishing articles to mislead people, don’t do that with my name. I am out for two weeks and not less.” He said on Twitter.
Omeruo will miss Leganes line up for the Spanish Segunda game with Albacete this evening and it remain unclear if he will be fit for Super Eagles game with Sierra Leone.
