Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi helped his club FC Porto claimed the first win in this season’s UEFA Champions League at the expense of Olympiacos on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles new boy featured for the entire duration and helped his club 2-0 victory at the Estadio Dragao.
Sanusi made his debut in the European elite football competition in Porto’s defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad last Wednesday.
Fabio Vieira opened the scoring for Porto in the 11th minute before Sergio Oliveira added the second with five minutes left to play.
It was an important win and clean sheet for Sanusi and his teammates as the result took them to second place behind Manchester City on the table.
