Villarreal of Spain and Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has stated that the back-to-back wins recorded by the Nigeria National Football team are good for the morale of the team after ending the AFCON qualifiers on a winning note though the AFCON ticket was gotten before both games against Benin and Lesotho.

Chukwueze speaking in a chat with brila.net said the wins were very important for the team and every one after having drawn their two previous games against Sierra Leone coupled a defeat and a draw in international friendlies before now and a run of four games without a win until the two victories against Benin and Lesotho.

“Very important for the team and everybody because we won the two games and qualified for the Nations Cup. I think the most important thing is to prepare for the qualifying of the world cup and to make Nigerians happy because they love Football, that’s the most important because we have a very nice team and great young talented players in our team.”
